HTTP (HIMTI Togetherness and Top Performance)

by enoxmyth on 14/09/2016

Hello again. In this post I’ll be talking about an event held to welcome all freshmen under the School of Computer Science (SoCS) called HTTP – which is the abbreviation of HIMTI Togetherness and Top Performance.

The entry fee is Rp. 150,000.00, and because I had other things to spend on with that money, I didn’t join.

Therefore, I can’t talk much about it.

The promotion video for the event is nicely done, and honestly, I had some doubts about my choice for not attending the event just because of that one video. It really sounded like it would be a lot of fun.

Even though I ended up not joining the event, I kept my eyes open for my class’ group chat and observed the outcome. With their comments in mind, I will attempt to give some suggestions for the future Welcoming Party for SoCS. I won’t give anything descriptive since I wasn’t there, but I’ll state the main point of the problems.

First, keep the audience entertained. Second, add more ‘fun’ into the event, add things that youths would enjoy. Third, be more careful about the transport.

Again, I wasn’t there, so I don’t know the true conditions. A lot of people, however, talked about it and I did hear lot of the same kind of complaints.

Well, that is all for this blog post. I am sorry for it being so short.

Thank you for taking your time reading this!
